Half Million Mobilization – Bringing People to Jesus



Dear Pastors, NDI Presidents, NDI Board members, Youth Pastors/leaders, and Church Leaders,


Greetings! I am writing to share my excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Half Million Mobilization Initiative—Bringing People to Jesus. This remarkable opportunity, developed by the USA/Canada Region, will run from Easter (April 20, 2025) through Pentecost (June 8, 2025).


During this season, we will have the opportunity to unite with thousands of Nazarenes across Canada and the USA in a powerful movement of prayer, seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance and empowerment. We believe that as we draw near to God in unity, He will work mightily through us to bring hope and transformation to our communities.


Why This Matters

  • We are part of the four year vision, called the Cycle of Resurgence, focusing this year on “Bringing People to Jesus.”

  • By participating in this initiative we unite with thousands of Nazarenes… praying together, seeking the Lord together, and to focusing our hearts on sharing the gospel to see lives transformed by Christ.

  • As leaders in the church, your role is critical in mobilizing your congregations and ministries to engage in prayer and share Jesus with those who need Him most.


  1. Daily Prayer Journal

    • Free digital downloads have been made available specifically for us in Canada (English, French, Spanish, Korean, Haitian Creole, Portuguese), and are available here:usacanadaregion.org/cycle-of-resurgence/bringing-people-to-jesus

    • A mobile-friendly option is also available. You can receive a daily reminder on your phone. The app. will notify you daily and allow you to submit reflections straight from your phone.

  2. Children & Family Resources

    • The “Let’s Party” resources include 8-week early childhood and elementary  curriculum, a pre-teen event bundle, 8 Kids’ Moments, a 50 Day Devotional for Kids and Families, countdown videos, motion videos and promotional graphics. 

    • These materials offer an engaging, family-oriented way to pray and have conversation from Easter to Pentecost.

    • Ideal for Sunday School teachers, children’s pastors and parents, these resources help children connect with Jesus on their level, and ensures that children of all ages are involved in this season of focused prayer. 

  3. Youth Resources

    • Specifically designed lessons and activities are available to help teens grow in their faith and share it with their peers.

    • Youth Pastors and youth leaders, please explore these materials to involve your students in this prayer movement.

  4. Sermon Series

    • This sermon series ties in seamlessly with the prayer journals, children’s and youth materials.

    • Pastors, as you preach through Easter to Pentecost, utilize these outlines and ideas to reinforce a church-wide focus on reaching people for Christ.


Your Role as Leaders

  • Pastors and NDI Presidents: Take the lead by introducing these materials to your church teams—Sunday School teachers, small group leaders, youth pastors, worship teams, and more. Prayerfully consider incorporating these resources into your church’s discipleship journey this spring.

  • Youth Pastors: Encourage your students to participate in the daily journal and other youth-specific resources.

  • NDI Boards: Help plan and organize prayer gatherings, distribute the journals, and ensure every age group knows how to get involved.

  • Spread the word! Share these links in your church announcements, newsletters, and social media. Let’s create excitement about what God is doing in our district and across North America. 


My prayer is that every church, every family, and every generation will be united in this season of prayer, seeking to bring people to Jesus. I am so thankful for the initiative taken by the Nazarene Church to create these amazing resources. As we unite our hearts in prayer and action, I pray that we would witness an awakening with individual lives changed, families blessed, and communities awakened to the hope we have in Christ. Let’s trust the Holy Spirit to do more than we could ask or imagine as we focus on Bringing People to Jesus.
